Fundraising ceilidh
Many thanks to all who came to support us at our ceilidh fundraiser on Sunday 15th May at the Broomhall Centre. A fantastic time was had by all, with lots of great music, dancing and food to enjoy.
We’d like to express our gratitude particularly to The Well-Dressed Band, our co-organisers and super-star performers on the night (look out for their bi-monthly ceilidhs at the Broomhall Centre), the fantastic caller Dave Ball (who managed to create order out of chaos), the always-wonderful Top Shelalas (who entertained us on the night with appropriately allotment-related songs) and our willing team of dedicated volunteers (who sold raffle tickets, helped run the stall & bar and waded through mountains of washing up).
We were thrilled to raise £405 for our project. All tickets were sold out. Many thanks to all who helped make this event possible.
