Plot 66

Plot 66 group is designed as a follow on group for people who have been members of Greenfingers who wish to remain part of the SAGE community, who have found a love of gardening whilst working on the SAGE allotment.

We have recently completed an outdoor shelter and laid gravel paths, thanks to a legacy donation from Jim Hogg who was a volunteer at SAGE. Many thanks to Jim's widow Marion for this.

Session information:

The session runs on Tuesday mornings. Member have more independence in this group with volunteers supervising and advising on gardening issues. Members work on various tasks around the allotment and help plan what produce is grown and where. Members are provided with an allotment made lunch, sometimes on the main allotment. There are spare bags of produce to take home, along with seedlings to grow on any spare outdoor space. We aim to nurture and support budding gardeners

Accessibility:

Plot 66 is sloping and may be unsuitable for people who have issues with their mobility. Please talk to us if you are unsure about its suitability.
