Green Shoots

Since having to make the very difficult decision to stop the Greenfingers project in December 2019 due to lack of funding the Trustees, Director and Volunteers have been working hard to build a new Greenfingers project. The first step was to recruit two new project works, and we are pleased to say that Helen and Mel joined us on the 10th February. The staff team are working with existing volunteers and are using feedback from previous members to develop a new project which will use Social Therapeutic Horticulture at its core to help adults with mental health issues progress into other interesting and sustainable projects. We are still working hard to get sufficient funds available for us to expand the new project from its small start. We are also looking out for additional help and ideas so not hold back if you can help us in any way.We hope to post more good news soon.
