Firth Park Community Allotments — Brushes Allotments (Plot 13, 24, 15, 33)

Mon  — 10.00am – 12pm — Veg Patch Kids Toddler group (term time only)

Thurs — 9.30am   – 12pm — Adult volunteers (Other times also available)

Thurs — 1pm – 3pm — Toddler Time (term time only)

More regular children sessions including FREE play scheme activities in most school holidays held Thursdays 1.00- 3.00.

The allotment is specially designed with the under 5’s in mind, to introduce parents and carers, families and young children to local food growing
The family friendly site runs across 4  x Community Green Flag award winning allotments  and has an established garden, a wide variety of annual and perennial vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruit, poly-tunnels, sheltered patio areas, toilet, garden sheds, kitchen facilities, pram store, children’s play area and wildlife area and ponds.  .  
Volunteers are essential to help maintain the plots in a safe condition or to work with families engaging in and learn about food growing, gardening,  craft activities and promoting healthy eating.
Firth Park Community Allotment is part of the Heeley City Farm family of food growing sites.
